Yup it's that time of year people! Easter is a wonderful day and time that we celebrate our Savior's Atonement for us. It is also a time for my family to go banana's! Before 'The Hunt' we had a Egg hunt... 3 in fact... at Andy's house before the adults had there fun! It was very exciting... As you can see...
This year's theme was cars. It was GREAT. We were first given a wallet to hold our 'City Cards' and 'Licenses'. We started by meeting at the house and watching movie clips about cars. Once we passed something off, we would get a learners permit and a 'Capa-city Card' that would represent different ways for us the 'Thrive' (in life) for example...
We would get the item the permit represented, for example we received a whistle with this learners permit. After all our fun games and a pit stop (lunch) we had a car emergency kit!!
IT WAS AWESOME!
After lunch we went to the park and played 'Pixar's Car' car games. THEN we went to the Boondocks and had a car race. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera and so I don't have any pictures. I only got two with my phone. This one is of heather and the next one is the most random! We were standing there and all of a sudden these people walked up to the mini golf and were all wearing a tail or full-on 'wolf/cat' costumes. It was random!
We had so much fun! Mom and Dad did it again.... Can't wait until next year!
Oh I'm not finished... AFTER the hunt, Amblers' and the Hamliton's came over to die eggs and decorate cookies. As you can see if was a very fun day!!
