The Adult Session:
Pres Hymas. Gratitude.
-Satan will focus on the one thing you don't have. Pres. Hymas used Adam and Eve as an example. How God gave them one rule that they shouldn't do but gave them agency to choose. Satan focused on the one. He does the same thing to us today. He focus' on those things that will do us harm and tries to make them look appealing. We need to stop, think, then act on the guidance of the spirit.
-It's great to have goals but enjoy the journey. Stop and smell the roses. Appreciate what God has given us!
-We are a selfish people. "Are you spending to much time on you own desires?" Think about what you do all day and what you think about. Think about others and what we have been given!

"Youth Speaker" Temples
-She had just returned from Hawaii and was thinking of the flight home and where she was heading. She then thought about the flight as our lives and where we are heading. "What flight are you on? Are you headed to the Temple? What is your final destination? Are you a frequent flyer?"

-"It only takes 20 seconds of insane courage!"-We Bought a Zoo

4.Continue in Faith

Pres. Boyer. How to know once you've received an answer to a prayer.

*God gives us Line upon line, precept upon precept. He gives a little at a time~when we are ready and in need.
-How to receive answers:
1.Question    2. Be worthy     3. Avoid feelings of anger, hate, and hurt
4. Avoid loud laughter     5. Temple/scripture/fasting/ church attendance
6.Excersize
-Write in your journal, keep a record of your impressions.

-Pres. Monson's concern for the one. We need to follow in his example and be concerned for the one!
-Open Your Mouth. Share the gospel with those around you!

Sis. Burton.
-Pitch your tent toward the temple.
-Teach your children early to pitch their tents toward the temple. How you can do that is: Hymns, primary songs, faith in God boos, YW/YM books, Personal example.
-Go to the Temple!

Elder Holland.
Davis county~You're the best!
-Conferring: Do we do any good at all?
-Faith comes by hearing~the power of words~ Faith works by words!!
-Do you remember what was spoken of during Conference just 31 days ago?
-What can we do to encourage that mighty change-or any change at all?
-What actual change have you made in your life as a result of general conference?
*Let us be doers of the word! We need you to be better!*

-Stake conference is so important! Don't miss it, or feel that it's the one you can miss.
-Become your first and most important convert.
-Missionaries, we need more of you! You are part of a wonderful and marvelous work!
-Beware of Bullying~ It's a growing problem!
-Three things we can do to relight the personal fire of conversion:
1. ALWAYS have a current recommend, and go often!
2. Study the word of God Daily
3. Pray daily. Speak with Him.
and always follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

I'm so glad I was there to hear these words. I have lots to work on and was reminded of how imperfect I am. But also how I can become a better person! ATTEND STAKE CONFERENCE!
