-There is a difference between mayo and miracle whip.
-Shepards pie is yummy and easy too.
-Oils and Vinegar are worth the investment.
This week Janet taught me how to make a version of shepards pie. She cooked ground beef (with onion), corn, bell peppers, black beans, mashed potatoes, and taco seasoning together. Once cooked she put it all in a dish and baked it, just before it was done she added cheese on top. It was really yummy!!!
While it was baking she pulled out the fixing for salad dressings! Oh my people, she has some options!! First she had me taste the difference between the mayo and MW. The MW is more tangy, where the Mayo was sweet and smooth. The MW is great on sandwiches or vegetable things. Where the Mayo is better in things.
Then we mixed them together and it good. Then we started mixing the oils and vinegars. Once you've found a combo you like, she said, you can add some of the Mayo/mw mix to it to thicken it up and it's really great. Or you can just keep the oil and vinegar mix. She has lots of choices: Chocolate, blueberry, chili, pear, cinnamon pear, and many more.
Here are some of my favorite combos with just the oil and vinegar...
Basil olive oil with orange vinegar.
