Nightmare Before Christmas-Kids Style

Oct 13th:  It's that time of year for Parties and FUN!!! This year our parties are

 "Nightmare Before Christmas" themed! 

We started by watching a little video of Nightmare before Christmas so all the kids knew what was going on. After I told them that Santa Clause had been kidnapped again and they would need to find him to save Christmas! Each clue they were given had an activity attached. 

Then they would get the next clue. 

Clue #1: Who is Jack's Best Friend? Answer: Zero

They then go to play pin the nose on zero! Elly was the winner with the closest nose!

Clue #2: What goes 'ooooooooooo' in the night? Answer: Ghost

We then made Ghosts out of Paper and Cotton Balls! Elly wanted her's to be smiling....

Clue #3: Who did Jack send to Kidnap Santa Clause? 

Answer: The Treat-or-Treaters (Lock, Stock, and Barrel)

We then went outside to play tombstone memory (they had to try and find Santa Clause). They each had a turn to find the different characters. We would flip them over and see who was on the other side! They had lots of fun with this one. 

Clue #4. What was on the door to Christmas Town? Answer: Christmas Tree

They each got two sugar cones, a bowl of frosting, and candy. They decorated and giggled that they were making Christmas Tree's at Halloween time.....

The candies were bones, skulls and skittles....

Clue #5: Who tried to eat Santa Clause? Answer: Oogie Boogie

We went down stairs and they each had a glow-in-the-dark necklace and bracelet. They had to try and get the necklace over a cone and the bracelets in the cauldron. Here are the pictures from that, I couldn't get anything better!! During this part Easton said, "Guy's isn't this party so much fun!". It was pretty cute! 

Clue # 6. Who said, "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!" Answer: Santa Clause. 

They were told that Santa had their treat-or-treating bag and they needed to find them. They did find him in the play room! They were screaming and laughing and going crazy! 

We had so much fun and I'm very grateful for my family!! Thanks for letting me have so much fun!!
