My Yellow Cake Mix

Lessons Learned:
-I like to Bake.
I told you about my first 'from scratch' cake mix and how easy I thought it was. Well I thought I would share it with you. I have altered the original recipe to this one. I call it:
'Grandma Grace Cake'
the stuff:
-1 Yellow cake mix (3 cups all-purpose flour, 2 cups sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk*)
-1 1/4 cup Water*
-1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
-1 teaspoon Almond Extract
-1/2 cup Butter , softened
-3 eggs

how to:
Preheat oven 350 degrees (may vary). Combine wet ingredients, mix in dry ingredients, with electric mixer, beat for two minutes.

bake:
8"-9" cake rounds. 20-25 minutes
13x9 pan. 25-40 minutes
cupcakes. 12-15 minutes
tube/bundt pan. 45-50 minutes

*If you dont have or dont want to use dry milk, use fresh milk in place of water in the ingredients.

**My favorite way to eat this yummy cake is the bundt cake with my sugar glaze**

Sugar Glaze:
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3 tablespoons Milk
1/2 teaspoon Butter Extract
